A COUPLE OF THINGS I HAVE BEEN WORKING ON

I can't believe how fast Christmas is coming, I always wish I had one more week. Here are a couple of things I have been working on. I have been collecting broken china doll heads for a long time, wondering what I was going to do with them, well a week ago I saw someone's blog where they had made a china doll topiary tree. I decided to make china doll tree's. I used styrofoam cones and also hard paper mache cones, I put vintage looking papers on them and then decorated them with vintage lace, ribbons and then added the heads to the top and covered up the broken parts with lace and ribbon. I also added hands to some of them. I have these sitting on my mantel for Christmas.

The other item that I have been working on are some journals for gifts, this time I used color, I hope they like them. Have a wonderful week and thanks for visiting me. Hugs, Terri

Oh wow Terri! I LOVE your dolls! Thank you so much for letting me know about your post. I am way behind on my blog visiting. Collecting those fabulous doll heads is SO addicting! It is so hard for me to "part" with one while creating. Isn't that crazy? I mean, it is the reason I purchase them, but they look so wonderful, all gathered together. Thanks for sharing! xoxo Rhonda...

You never cease to amaze me with how much you get done!!! You are my hero. Love the new dolly head creations and if you can every part with any, I hope to see them in your Etsy shop!! The journals with color...gorgeous. The one I picked up from your lovely shop is going to a friend for Christmas and I could not believe how much more beautiful it was in person. I will be sad to see it go, but so happy someone else will get to enjoy your creation.
Thank you for sharing your work.

Hi Terri
The angels are just precious with those old pieces, I have a collection myself and just love them. You have been busy, but I know what you mean about another week... I could use two... but I will just keep making stuff right through January for next year.
Blessings
Rebecca
